A Letter to Our Partners—COVID-19

COVID-19: Health, Safety and Business continuity

There is little doubt we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting families, businesses, communities, and the way of life of people around the world. Our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.

At CU Direct, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, families, and communities, while still maintaining business continuity.

Working remotely, while staying safe and connected
To accomplish this, we have initiated a pandemic response plan, monitored, managed and executed by our Coronavirus task force which meets twice daily. We have also encouraged many of our employees to work remotely. With our highly-distributed workforce, and many of our employees already on a remote schedule, this shift has been relatively smooth. In addition, we have suspended all non-essential travel until further notice, and our existing communications infrastructure provides for the fluid ability to stay connected, regardless of location. Through these measures, we will continue to deliver the highest levels of performance, system availability, and security.

Business continuity plan implemented
Further, CU Direct has a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan for maintaining operations under a wide variety of circumstances, including technology outages, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and pandemics. As a company, we have developed the ability to maintain operations utilizing approved alternative locations and devices.

Even as we deal with this pandemic, our teams at CU Direct remain laser-focused on supporting you and your credit union. We are here to assist you in maintaining high service levels as well as business continuity for your members.

Committed to our employees, clients, and communities
We are committed to you now more than ever. We have amazing teams across CU Direct that are here for you. I’ll be sure to keep you updated, and please know that we value your questions and feedback.

On behalf of all of us at CU Direct, I want you to know we’re in this together as your partner, and we’ll persevere in the days and years ahead. Please stay safe and healthy.
